The Cardiac Science Powerheart G3 Pediatric Defibrillation Pads are designed for use with all 9200 and 9300 series AEDs, allowing rescuers to provide safe and effective defibrillation therapy for young patients. These pads are suitable for infants and children aged 1 to 8 years old or weighing less than 55 lbs (25 kg). They deliver a reduced-energy shock level compared to standard adult defibrillator pads, ensuring appropriate and safe treatment for pediatric patients. The specialized design helps provide the best possible care during a cardiac emergency, enhancing the chances of a successful resuscitation.
QmedAED recommends always keeping an extra set of Child pads on hand to ensure you are prepared for a sudden cardiac arrest, especially if your initial set has already been used.

How to change your Cardiac Science G3 Plus Pads
To change the electrode pads for your Cardiac Science Powerheart G3 Plus defibrillators:
- Turn off the AED, disconnect and dispose of the used pads, and unpack the new electrode pads carefully.
- Plug the cable connector of the new pads securely into the AED, ensuring the cable is untangled and accessible.
- Confirm the device recognizes the new pads by briefly turning it on, then store the AED with the connected pads, ready for use.
