Philips HeartStart AED FR2 & FR2+ Adult Defibrillator Pads with a flexible design and strong adhesive properties, these adult electrode pads are designed for use with the Philips HeartStart FR2 and FR2+ AED defibrillators. The pads are suitable for use on adults and young patients over 8 years old or more than 25kg in weight, and provide defibrillation treatment, ECG monitoring and external pacing
These pads have a 2-year shelf life. The pads work seamlessly with the FR2 & FR2+ AED, guiding users with clear, step-by-step voice prompts, and providing real-time feedback to ensure proper placement and effective shock delivery when needed.

- Philips HeartStart FR2 Adult Pads deliver a nominal 150 joules into a 50-ohm load.
- Active surface area is 13 square inches (85 square centimeters) per pad.
- AED pad cable length is 48 inches (122 centimeters).
How to change your HeartStart Onsite AED Pads
To change the electrode pads for your Philips HeartStart FR2 AED:
- Open the AED by lifting the lid to access the battery and electrode pad compartment.
- Remove the used pads from the compartment and dispose of them properly.
- Connect the electrode pads cable to the AED connector.
- Place the pads on the patient’s chest as per the provided placement guide.
- Ensure the pads are securely attached, and the AED will automatically begin the self-test process to confirm readiness.
